Ever try any Lebanese cuisine?
Al-Amar means The Moon and that’s the name of this restaurant. Thanks to I Love Discount and Al-Amar, I was able to dine here at this Lebanese restaurant.
I never tasted any Lebanese cuisine before and probably the only Middle Eastern dish I ever had in my life was Kebab.
Obviously, I never tasted anything like that before. Do let me inform everyone that the dishes here are mostly authentic Lebanese cuisine with a touch of Western and Italian cuisine as well. How authentic can they be? Well, for starters, all their chefs have more than 10 years of experience working in top hotels in Lebanon and your pure blood Lebanese.
This fried rice is quite awesome in my opinion. Although I’m not a big fan of tomato but it tasted very unique and delicious.
Probably one of my favorite of the night.
The chicken meat is not only tender but the spices used to cook it is exceptionally good. I like how it tasted despite not being too spicy.
I like the taste of this soup. The taste blended well with each other and it’s very appetizing. I recommend everyone to have a small bowl of this soup for starters.
The salmon and vegetables used in this salad is amazingly fresh. Especially the salmon. It doesn’t taste or smell fishy at all unlike some restaurant that did not provide fresh salmon. It tasted different from the normal Caeser Salad I had probably because there is an added Lebanese touch to it. Very well played indeed.
The food taste foreign to me and obviously the environment as well. But overall it is a very good experience. The food taste good in my opinion. Al-Amar offers a wide range on authentic Lebanese cuisines both in their buffet and ala-carte menu with a touch of some Western and Asian style in them. Pretty good effort I must say and I’m definitely impressed.
This Hummus is a mixture of mashed chickpeas with sesame seed paste and a dash of lemon juice on it. I tried it with their freshly baked Pita Bread and the combination is superb. I think it is a great dish for starters as well. But be warned, too much of it might get you too filing.
The Chicken Tikka Masala and Ravioli in Pesto sauce are definitely my favorite of the day. They are so good that I salivate as I’m blogging this post.
